Doing $ sudo apt-get update gives E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.. After doing some digging i found this Cannot connect to mirrordirector.raspbian.org which explains that there is a DNS issue with mirrordirector, and to change the source in /etc/apt/sources.list.
